Aims

We aim to

• Promote, develop and perform a high standard and wide variety of choral singing and music
• Be an active part of our community by performing three public concerts a year in different locations in the Nottinghamshire area, as well as supporting other events, such as carol singing.
• Promote choral music across Nottinghamshire by advertising and supporting other choirs’ events, choosing our programmes to attract and entertain our audiences and making choral music more accessible and understandable via our programme notes.
• Have fun and enrich people's lives through singing and listening to music, which is proven to improve health and wellbeing.
• Make all members, old and new, feel included and valued.
• Support new talent particularly through promoting the winners of the prestigious John Ogdon Scholarship Award for outstanding young performers.
• Be financially viable in order to cover our costs and enable investment in delivering our aims.
